James Donald Scott 82, passed away July 6, 2018 at his home in Holly Springs, MS. James was born November 23, 1935 to William Austin Scott and Claudia Gertrude McAfee in Franklin County AL. James was a Baptist and worked as a Construction Superintendent.

Services will be held graveside Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 11:00 am, at Memorial Park Southwood. There will be a visitation Monday evening July 9, 2018 from 5:00 -  8:00 pm at the funeral home.

James is survived by his wife Doris Scott of Holly Springs, MS. His son, James Carl Scott (Suanne) of Southaven, MS. His daughter, Donna Marie Vanzant (Tim) of Holly Springs,MS. Brother, William Scott of Lamar, MS. Four sisters, Lara Cummings of Slayen, MS, Ruth Eudy of Muscle Shoales, AL, Jimmie Dean Whitten of Bartlett, TN and Linda Eskew of Goodlettesville, TN. Six grandchildren and eight great grandchiildren.
