James Raymond Johnston
James Raymond Johnston, 82, of Byhalia, Mississippi passed away on September 19, 2025. He was born to the late Mr. Rollie and Mrs. Sarah Frances Harrison on June 2, 1943 in Byhalia, Mississippi. James was Baptist in faith and worked as a mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Johnston as well as his caregivers who were his niece, Susan Mauney and, nephew Ken Mauney of Holly Springs, Mississippi. He is also survived by a sister, Sarah Catherine Farley of Byhalia, Mississippi. A visitation will be held at the Magnolia Cemetery Chapel in Collierville, Tennessee on Tuesday, September 23 at 10:00 AM lasting until service time. A graveside service will be held the same day at 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Cemetery.
