Janice Elizabeth Lemons, 68, of Potts Camp, passed away at her home on January 19, 2023. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on January 27, 1954, to William A Norton and Mary Elizabeth Harper Norton. Mrs Lemons was a nurse practitioner for the State of Mississippi.
Mrs Lemons is survived by her husband, Joel Don Lemons, two sons, Loren Lemons (Treasure) and Austin Lemons; seven daughters, Courtney Martin (Joey), Anna Lemons, Jennifer Lemons, Amy Grantham (Bradley), Elizabeth Skelton (Brandon), Madison Lemons, and Abby Lemons; and ten grandchildren, Maggie Francomano, Macie Helms, Christopher Martin, Calexico Martin, Mareila Lemons, Naomi Skelton, Jonathan Grantham, Micah Skelton, Manning Lemons, and Jenny Grantham. She also leaves three sisters, Edna Vandergrift, Carol Smith, and Dorothy Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Bill Norton, James Luther Norton, and James Nicholson.
Services for Mrs Lemons will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 11:00 am, at Bethlehem Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at the church from 2:00 until 5:00 pm. Burial, following the service, will be at the church cemetery. |
