Joan Feathers Cotton, 64, passed away on October 6, 2021, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, Mississippi. A native of Myrtle,MS. Mrs Cotton was born on March 8, 1957, to Clyde Feathers and Jannie Byrd Feathers. She was a Baptist and a former employee of BP Convenience Stores.
Mrs Cotton was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Cotton, and a son Jamie Cotton. She is survived by a daughter, Crystal Cotton of Myrtle, a brother, Bubba Feathers (Mitzi) of Potts Camp, and a sister, Sue Hurdle (Byron) of Slayden. She also leaves three grandchildren Elizabeth Madison Holliday (Chaz), Trey Cotton, and Ethan Cotton, and one great grandchild, Ava Lee Cotton; and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs Cotton will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Monday, October 11, 2021, at 2:00 pm. A visitation will begin at noon, and will last until service time. Burial will be at Temperance Hill Cemetery in Potts Camp. |
