Lester Hailey 88, passed away June 7, 2020 at his home in La Grange, TN. Lester was born October 17, 1931 to William Hailey and Annie Gray Hailey in Ashland, MS. Lester was a member of Williston Baptist Church and worked as a maintainance man.
There will be a vistation Wednesday evening, June 10, 2020 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. There will be a family service at Rice Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
Lester is survived by his wife, Shirley Hailey of La Grange, TN. Seven sons, Terry Hailey of Sommerville, TN, Rick Hailey of Collierville, TN, David Hailey of Lamar, MS, Marty Finley of Ar, Tommy Finley of MS, Eddie Finley of AR and David Finley of Collierville, TN. Five daughters, Debra Reimann of Lamar, MS, Peggy Finley of Byhalia, MS, Tammy Finley of FL, Terry Pierce of Moscow, TN and Sherry Parker of Moscow, TN. Three brothers, Howard Hailey of Holly Springs, MS, Sam Hailey of Jackson, MS and Ray Hailey of New Orleans, LA. Three sisters, Elsie Hailey, Kathryn Johnson of Brandon, MS and Nita Thomas. As well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents William and Annie Hailey, brothers, William Hailey and Jim Hailey, siters, Jane Seals, Mary Hunsucker, Mamie Miller and Sue Johnson.
