Madalynne Simmons Ash of Potts Camp, Mississippi, passed away on February 18, 2021. She was born on April 6, 1922, in Potts Camp, and was the daughter of Joseph Stant Simmons and Ethel Boren Simmons. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Potts Camp, and worked at the Marshall County Court House for 46 years in the offices of the sheriff and the Chancery Clerk.
Mrs. Ash was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Martin Ash; her daughter, Lynda Ash McAlexander; her brother, Joe Simmons, and her sister, Louise S Randolph. She is survived by her sister, Jean S Nichols, and five nephews and two nieces.
Services for Mrs. Ash will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 25, at the Holly Springs Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.
