Sterling Skelton

Curtis Sterling Skelton,83 went to Heaven to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on October 18, 2025 at his home. Born on April 3,1942 to Curtis and Maxine Skelton. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist church in Waterford, MS. He was a retired maintenance man from Mulay Plastics in Holly Springs and Thomas & Betts in Byhalia.  He was an avid horse lover who was well known for his ability to train and break horses. A former jockey who would ride anything, had a heart on fire for Jesus and always had a smile on his face.  He is survived by his wife Dollie Skelton; daughter Rhonda Haney (Andy); son Kerry Skelton (Dede); Grandchildren Chase Haney; Josh Skelton (Erika); Andrea Haney; Kaitlyn Hughes (Tommy); Great-Grandchildren John Thomas Wilson; Khloe Hughes; Lane Skelton; Rylan Shoffner; Dylan Hughes and Avery Hughes.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Nona, Leon and Peggy.  Graveside service will be held Monday October 20th at 2pm at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Waterford, MS. All family and friends are invited to attend.
