Evelyn Diane Young, 77, of Olive Branch, Mississippi departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 4, 2026 at the Desoto Healthcare Center in Southaven. She was born to the late Mr. William Charles Wilkerson "W.C" and the late Mrs. Velma LaUna Edwards Wilkerson on March 11, 1949 in Hickory Flat, MS. She was Apostolic in faith and enjoyed being a homemaker and a mother. Also, in her earlier years she enjoyed scrapbooking, going to yard sales, and being a Sunday School teacher at Bethel United Apostolic Church where she was a member for 46 years. She was also a devoted wife to her late husband, Howard Lamar Young for 48 years. She especially loved being Mimi to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Joey Young (Rebecca) of Byhalia, 2 grandchildren: Andrew Young (Katy) of Southaven, and Hannah Grissom (Josh), as well as 2 great-grandchildren: Ayden and Amelia Grissom of Byhalia. She is also survived by a sister, Glenda Anderson, of New Albany. Other survivors also include a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Andrew Young, Josh Grissom, Matthew Anderson, Chuck Wilkerson, Keith Wells, and Scott Pulliam

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7th, 2026 from 6 until 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be on Monday, June 8th, 2026 at 11:00 AM. All services will be held at the Bethel United Apostolic Church in Olive Branch. She will be buried at the Blocker Cemetery in Olive Branch and she will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
