Flossie Marie Skelton, 75, of Holly Springs, passed away at New Albany Health & Rehab
on Wednesday, July 19, 2023. She was born in Holly Springs, Mississippi , on November 10, 1948, to Melvin Lemons and Monttie Ash Lemons. Mrs Skelton, the widow of Elbridge "Gene" Skelton, worked at Parker in Holly Springs as an assembler, and was a member of Bethlehem Church of The Lord Jesus Christ.
Mrs Skelton is survived by one son, Barry Skelton (Heather) of Potts Camp, and three grandchildren, Rheagan Skelton, Sarah Jo Skelton, and Zachary Skelton. She also leaves four sisters, Laverne Hunsucker of Hickory Flat, Elaine Richards of Cordova, Nancy Kennedy of Olive Branch, and Brenda Sain of Amory. Mrs. Skleton was preceded in death by her husband Elbridge "Gene" Sklelton.
The family will have a private memorial Friday July 21, 2021. The Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge.
