James Marshall Payne, 85, passed away at his home in Potts Camp on September 14, 2023. He was born in the Winborn community on September 10, 1938, to James Washington Payne and Hazel Clifton Payne. Mr Payne was retired from CFI in Holly Springs.
Mr Payne is survived by his wife of sixty four years, Emeline Coffeen Blaylock Payne, and a son, James Keith Payne of Batesville. He also leaves a sister, Jackie Luther of Potts Camp, and two grandchildren, Jamison Payne McFann and Haley Elizabeth Payne.
Services for Mr Payne will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 4:00 pm, at Temperance Hill Church in Potts Camp. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 2:00 pm, and continue until service time. Burial will be at Temperance Hill Cemetery. The Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge. |
