Marquis "Marty" O'Neil Weatherly Jr, 59, of Ashland, passed away at his home on November 6, 2021.  Mr Weatherly was born in Holly Springs on June 6, 1962, to Marquis Weatherly Sr and Maxine Thompson Weatherly.  He was a United States Navy veteran and a metals crafter.

Mr Weatherly is survived by his wife, Joyce Skelton Weatherly; two sons, Andrew Aldrich Weatherly (Stacy) of Ashland and Timothy O"Neil Weatherly (Hallie), also of Ashland; and six grandchildren, James Wilbanks, Dillan Weatherly, Andrew O'Neil Weatherly, Hollice Weatherly, Rebecca Weatherly, and Willow Weatherly.  He also leaves a sister, Gina Hopper of Germantown, Tennessee.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Debbye Weatherly.

Services for Mr Weatherly will be held in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 2:00 pm.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, November 9, from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Burial following the service will be in Bluff Springs Cemetery in Ashland.
