Melisa Burchette Hanks, 63 of Hickory Flat, Mississippi passed away on May 31, 2026. Melisa was born on August 4, 1962 to Henry Burchette and the late Bettye Sue Ash Burchette in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Melisa was Baptist in faith and worked as a truck driver.
Melisa is survived by her father, Henry Burchette, two sons, Alex Maness of East Tennessee and Christopher Maness (Carla) of New Albany and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 10:00 and service will follow at 11:00 at The Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Cemetery.
