Peggy Jane Bingham, 89, of Ashland, passed away on January 2, 2022, at her home. She was born on April 10, 1932, in Ashland, to Aaron Harvey Bingham and Clara Hudspeth Bingham.
Miss Bingham was a retired manager with Bell South and was a member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. She was a member of the National Rose Society and was a known authority on rose hybridization and cultivation.
Miss Bingham is survived by her nephews, Marty BIngham of Whiteville, Tennessee, and John Bingham of Ashland. She also leaves a niece Vicki Hedrick of Whiteville, and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Joe Mack Bingham, and her sister Sarah Bingham.
Services for Miss Bingham will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at noon, at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Ashland. A visitation will take place thirty minuted prior to the service, at 11:30 am. Burial will be in Bluff Springs Cemetery. |
