John Leonard "Lynn" Newsom, 73, of Senatobia, passed away at Methodist Hospital Olive Branch, on October 14, 2022. He was born on August 21, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, to John Thomas Newsom and Betty Lou Weatherington Newsom. Mr Newsom was employed by FedEx.
Mr Newsom is survived by two brothers, Thomas A Newsom (Robin) and Gary Douglas Newsom. He also leaves six nephews, Larry Newsom Jr, Nicholas Roberson, Thomas Newsom Jr, Cody Newsom, Clint Newsom, and Chad Newsom, and a niece, Amy Newsom. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Eugene Newsom (Betty).
Services for Mr Newsom will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 am, and continue until service time. Burial, following the service will be at Hill Crest Cemetery. |
