Virginia Nell Cassatta
Virginia Nell Cassatta, of Holly Springs, passed away at Alliance Healthcare on January 21, 2023. She was born in Boliver, Tennessee, on October 8, 1942, to John Wilson and Birdie Hill Wilson. Mrs Cassatta was an artist. Mrs Cassatta is survived by a son, William "Joe" Cassatta (Allison), two daughters, Angela Scott (Charles) and Francis "Bit" Blessike (Jerry), five grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She also leaves five sisters, Faye Crossman (Bob), Lynda Castigliego (Chuck), Barbara Pomeroy (Steve), Nikki Heavner, and Shirley Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cassatta, her parents, a brother, Johnny Wilson, and four sisters, Grace Francis, Mary Rogers, Betty Lee, and Velma Burns. Services for Mrs Cassatta will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 11:00 am, in the Chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 until 11:00 am, at the funeral home. Burial, following the service will be at Hill Crest Cemetery.

She always enjoyed sitting at her table and looking out the patio door watching our pups playing in the backyard and especially enjoyed when we would visit with her and bring "donkey" over to visit. She will be greatly missed and our thoughts and condolences go out to the family.
