Imogene "Shot" Morgan Wilson, 91, of Lamar, MS passed away at the Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, MS on October 14, 2025. Imogene was born to the late Mr. George Washington Morgan and Mrs. Anner Mae Smith Morgan on August 19, 1934. She was Methodist in faith and worked for Troxel many years as well as Wal-Mart after retiring from Troxel.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by a godson and goddaughter, Brant and Crystal Morgan of Lamar. She is also survived by a brother, George Morgan of Jackson, TN and several loving nieces and nephews. Imogene is preceded in death by her late husband, Mr. Winford Wilson, her parents, as well as her sisters: Elsie Smith, Gladys Yeager, and Mary Joyner. She is also preceded in death by a step-son, Lee Hunsucker.

Services for Mrs. Imogene will be Friday, October 17, 2025 in the chapel of the Holly Springs Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12 until service time. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Following the funeral service, burial will take place at the Rice Chapel Cemetery with a graveside service to be held at the cemetery.

Mrs. Imogene "Shot" Wilson will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
