Myrtis Smith Hunsucker
Myrtis Smith Hunsucker, 86, of Holly Springs, passed away at her home on May 9, 2024. She was born in Mt Pleasant, Mississippi, on June 29, 1937, to James Smith and Irene Edwards Smith. Mrs Hunsucker was a homemaker. Mrs Hunsucker is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Ron) Tate of Memphis, Debra Joyner of Mt Pleasant, and Peggy Dodge (Rick) of Rossville, Tennessee. She also leaves a sister, Martha Cantin of New Albany, two grandchildren, Gidget Anderson (Ron) and Michael Crabb (Rhonda), and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Hunsucker. Graveside services for Mrs Hunsucker will be held at Carey Chapel Cemetery on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11:00 am. There will be a visitation for family and friends at Carey Chapel Baptist Church, beginning at 10:00 am and lasting until service time. The Holly Springs Funeral Home has charge.
